The first Asia session, taking place in Hong Kong, will explore the rise of China’s Greater Bay Area and share the experiences of those doing business in this rapidly emerging economic hub. It will also look at how the two Bay areas differ, what they can learn from each other and how they can inform each other’s development and future.

Shai Oster is the Asia bureau chief for The Information, based in Hong Kong, where he will cover technology companies in Asia. Over nearly two decades as a journalist in China, Europe, and the U.S., he has covered a broad range of economic, business and social issues. Shai was previously reporter-at-large for Bloomberg News in Asia.
Dr. Li has been an innovation evangelist, a serial entrepreneur, and a governance adviser for over 35 years. Dr. Li is the founding Chairman of Invotech, a citizens-based think-tank seeking innovative ways to reinvent the ecosystems of Hong Kong. He currently serves as their Honorary President.
Dr. Li is an adviser to the Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong; the Center of Family Business at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as, the Chairman of the Advisory boards of the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also a board member of Cyberport and the Urban Renewal Authority.
As General Manager of eBay Hong Kong, Taiwan & Southeast Asia, Jenny is responsible for driving retail export from these markets and growing the gross merchandise volume and revenue for eBay HK, Taiwan and Southeast Asia businesses.
Jenny has extensive business development, management, sales and marketing experience in the IT, online, and e-Commerce industry. Prior to eBay, she worked for Hewlett-Packard, Yahoo! and Microsoft for various positions with increasing responsibilities.
Lulu is an award winning business reporter with Bloomberg in Hong Kong, covering the technology beat. She has broken numerous stories about IPOs, merger and acquisitions in the sector. A regular commentator on Bloomberg TV and various radio shows in Hong Kong and Australia, Chen was a co-winner of the SOPA awards in 2011 and 2018.
Tony is the founder of GreaterBay Ventures & Advisors, an integrated investment and consulting firm, specialised on modern urban development and smart cities. With a focus on the Greater Bay Area around the Pearl River Delta, he intends to play an active role in building the biggest megacity in the world and facilitating the adaptation of best practices globally.
Tony launched several initiatives and contributes to different verticals and communities locally and globally, with experience in corporate innovation, accelerator programmes and ecosystem building as partner of Nest.vc and co-founder of Mettā. He is an acclaimed public engagement expert for cities and large scale events.
Kenneth is the Senior Vice President of uCloudlink. With over 20 years of management experience in the telecommunications industry, he oversees the company’s global sales and operations for offline markets as well as its rapid expansion into the U.S.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, uCloudlink is a global innovative mobile data solution provider. Since establishment in 2009, the company has steadily emerged to be a leader in the CloudSIM and mobile data solution field, growing from a Chinese technology start-up to a global business.
Kenneth is also a columnist with leading Hong Kong recruitment domain CTgoodjobs, where he writes about management and sales.
Michael is Vice Chairman of China Center for Globalization (CCG) and president of CCG Shanghai Branch. CCG is China’s most influential think tank on international relationship, trade and investment. He is also the founder and executive chairman of Kuan Capital, an investment and asset management firm based in Shanghai, China. Prior to establishing Kuan Capital in 2013, he served as the co-founder of CyberCity Investments, SIG Capital and was a partner of GGV Capital.
