Sophos Eats Threats for Breakfast

WINNER: B2B Campaign of the Year- PRIA Golden Target Awards 2021


Organisations are becoming more mature with cybersecurity, yet they continue to be hit by attacks. 56% suffered a successful attack last year, as COVID-19 threw organisations into the deep-end, imposing considerable stresses on their technology and cybersecurity capabilities.

Sophos, a leader in next-generation cybersecurity saw an opportunity to improve awareness and education, while driving thought leadership in the industry. Sophos needed a data-driven campaign to address the cybersecurity challenges organisations were facing, while demonstrating its expertise in solving these challenges.


TEAM LEWIS proposed a creative communications campaign that assessed the ability of organisations to meet the demands required to protect their business and that positioned Sophos’ product as the solution. The campaign depicted how Sophos fights threats daily, and easily- as easy as having breakfast.


Utilising multiple channels such as the creation of research papers, media newsjacking, lead gen and promotion across social, the campaign achieved strong results. Between 18 February – 30 April 2021:

  • SOV for Sophos rose to #1
  • Improvement in power of voice up 33% (from 29% YoY) to see Sophos move to #1
  • 1,200 articles were secured, a 18% increase YoY
  • 11,600 website visits a 40% increase YoY
  • 89,000 clicks and 200+ MQLs for all digital campaigns
