Wix, a leading website building platform to millions of users around the world, was founded on the belief that the internet should be accessible to everyone to develop, create and contribute. Wix makes it easy for everyone to create a beautiful, professional web presence, yet the brand was faced with an awareness challenge in the U.S. There were no true “beat” writers for the company’s offering. TEAM LEWIS was brought in for our balance between creative and strategic media relations, as the leading website builder needed an agency that could produce an array of business, consumer and vertical stories.
Approach
The team developed a series of proactive pitches that told larger stories of the Wix platform’s impact. This was coupled with product launches, company news, reviews programs and a strong program focused on leveraging customers to tell the Wix story. Pulling examples from a variety of vertical industries, including non-profit, design, fashion and even the wedding industry, TEAM LEWIS secured a number of local and national stories, touting the value of Wix.
