We are already one month into 2019 and LEWIS Research has hit the ground running. We wanted to share some fun facts about our last year of research.


Did you know?

In 2018:

  • We surveyed 43,389 people in 26 countriesMap
  • Our median survey length was 13 minutes 15 seconds
  • Our projects were for clients in the following industries: banking, FinTech, telecommunications, wellness, technology, and security

Our team has more than doubled in size from 2 to 5 people! I joined in November 2018. I have a research background and have previously worked in the government and for several different market research companies before joining the PR world. I have conducted qualitative and quantitative research among any audience you can imagine and across a variety of business sectors. It is fun to be a part of a smaller team growing their practice and capabilities, and I am excited to see what we build together. We also have Sidney, who joined our team from the PR side of LEWIS, and Sarah, a recent graduate from the University of Richmond. When our team is not involved in a heated debate over Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey, we are busy learning from each other and diving into the complex and interesting world of our clients.

To give you a better understanding of the LEWIS Research method:

LEWIS research works collaboratively to understand the needs of the project and client. Unique to LEWIS, we start each project by media targeting and trend mapping, so we can gain a better understanding of what will generate PR and news for our client. Our next two steps are to create a media calendar and potential pitch headlines with specific reporters in mind. We customize and write all our questionnaires in-house and we program and host our research internally to expedite the process. At the end of the process, our clients receive a storyboard which presents the most newsworthy information in a format that is digestible for external audiences. LEWIS also conducts qualitative research if that is better suited to the needs of the project.

We are so excited to see what this year brings for us and our clients and we look forward to helping LEWIS grow and thrive in 2019!
