Video Production Intern

Purpose of the role 

We are seeking a creative, self-driven intern with the ability to create original short-form video content that engages and inspires. The Video Production Intern will handle day-to-day responsibilities for planning, filming and editing videos for a variety of company initiatives. Projects may include but not limited to corporate video production, social media shorts, training videos, case studies, testimonials, etc. Kinetic typography, motion graphics, title animations, 2D animation, etc. is expected. Technical knowledge paired with a creative, curious mindset and an eye for detail are necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop original multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruitment video, etc.
  • Support all aspects of internal video production at LEWIS
  • Gain experience working with the various subject matter experts across a fast-paced global marketing agency

About you

  • Consider yourself somewhat of a cinephile and have a passion for cinematography
  • Enjoy learning new video editing and animation techniques for fun
  • Experience creating videos from end to end
  • Understand proper shot composition and lighting
  • Obsessive about sound quality
  • Live in Adobe Creative Cloud software including editing and animating in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects; 3D animation (Cinema 4D) is a bonus
  • Experienced working with Mac OS
  • Self-starter with excellent multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
  • Inquisitive, curious, hungry to learn and suggest new ideas and approaches
