LEWIS is a finalist in four categories at this year’s European Excellence Awards. The awards, hosted by Communication Director for the last ten years, honour outstanding achievements of communications professionals across Europe.
The European Excellence Awards has chosen LEWIS as a finalist for both Best Retail Campaign and Best Benelux Campaign, for its work with bol.com. DDB Brussels and LEWIS created the ‘Impossible Signing Session’ campaign around an unusual PR stunt at the Antwerp Book fair. This is one of the most talked about events in Belgium, attracting literary fans from far and wide who want to have their favourite books signed by the author. With the ingenious use of a robot, world-renowned author, Paul van Ostijen, was brought back to life for one last book signing session. The campaign won a Gold Lion at Cannes PR Lions earlier this year.
LEWIS has also been shortlisted for “The Hovering Art Director” campaign, which the agency worked on with Adobe and ACHTUNG! mcgarrybowen. The campaign is nominated in the category Best Brand Relationship Campaign. Together with ACHTUNG! mcgarrybowen, LEWIS and Adobe created the humorous campaign to promote Adobe Stock. The campaign recently won a Digital Communication Award in the Online Competition category.
To top it off, the integrated communications agency has been shortlisted in the category Best Telecommunications Campaign for the video campaign it developed for Gigaset. To increase awareness of Gigaset’s core telephone products, LEWIS created a series of social media videos that captured and inspired customer interest, and defined modern communications for Gigaset’s distinct offering.
The 2017 European Excellence Award winners will be announced on 30 November at the awards ceremony in Hamburg. The full list of finalists and campaigns can be found here.
