LEWIS, the global integrated communications agency, has been selected by Tempo, the technology company driving change in the recruitment industry, to help raise awareness of its business.

The Tempo platform uses AI technology to match vacancies with expertise, instantly creating a shortlist of the most suitable candidates for employers to view. Candidates create a video-based profile, as well as uploading information such as references and pay expectations. The platform then matches companies and applicants, as well as managing the entire recruitment process, cutting out the need for third party involvement. This effectively undermines the slow, text-heavy traditional process, without sacrificing quality.

Tempo aim to revolutionise the jobs market to create a more fluid model of employment; taking advantage of the growing trend away from traditional, long-term employment and toward flexible, short-term work. The platform already has a talent pool of over 14,000 candidates, and almost 1,000 active employers using the platform. LEWIS will be supporting Tempo’s growth with an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach that places a strong focus on creative and digital content.

“Traditional recruitment firms haven’t evolved to suit a new generation of workers and have failed to embrace the latest technology,” comments Ruth Jones, Managing Director UK, LEWIS. “As a result, they should fear Tempo. We’re delighted to be working with a company driving change through technology.”

“LEWIS has very strong credentials in both technology and recruitment, and we were impressed with the approach that the team outlined in its pitch,” said Ben Chatfield, co-founder of Tempo. “They focus on driving conversations with strong, evidence-based content, which perfectly matches our culture. Not only that, but they also embody many of Tempo’s own values, by being disruptive and ambitious. We look forward to changing the face of recruitment with them.”
