With growing investment in membership outside of the UK digital platforms were integral to provide the same level of information and content for all users.
At its core, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers increases understanding and knowledge about the fast-changing industry of engineering.
With the amount of news items, events, courses, scholarships and training, the previous version of the site was no longer fit for purpose for such a fast-changing industry.
Our task was to help restructure the site and create a user friendly CMS interface to allow teams to effectively and easily manage website content.
LEWIS created a highly engaging and intelligent user experience that facilitated a rewarding journey across customers and differentiate IMechE from its competitors.
LEWIS worked with the institution to broaden the reach of its events programme and expand revenue channels by selling video packages for their events.
These videos were displayed on a video platform with the aim of provide access to users across the globe.
These included live streaming of events, conference highlights and allowing lead generation by letting delegates subscribe to online seminars.
The work involved the combination of several event platforms, resulting in a single sign on which allowed users to a personalised view of all recently watched, recently attended and recommended content.
