✨ Instagram Levels Up the ‘Edits’ Workflow
Instagram is giving its built-in editor a major creative boost. A new update to “Edits” brings powerful features to make your video creation smoother and more customizable than ever. You can now fine-tune your clips with precision using an updated transform tool that lets you tailor the position, scale, and rotation, complete with built-in keyframe support. Text is getting an upgrade too, with a new “AI style” option allowing you to generate custom font styles. On top of that, you can build more complex templates with motion, now fully equipped with speed controls and transitions. Plus, finding your Reels and accounts for links has been streamlined, making your workflow that much faster and more efficient.

🛑 LinkedIn Pulls the Plug on Spontaneous Live Streams
If you love going live on LinkedIn at the drop of a hat, you’ll need to adjust your strategy. Starting June 22, 2026, LinkedIn will no longer allow real-time, unplanned live streams. Instead, all live events must be scheduled ahead of time (even if it’s just a few minutes in advance). The goal is to make events more discoverable and ensure streamers actually have an audience when they hit the “broadcast” button, moving away from empty streams.

Meta is reportedly developing a new subscription package specifically aimed at boosting Instagram performance, internally dubbed “Instagram Plus.” Leaked back-end features suggest that paying users could soon get access to “Story Extend” (keeping a Story alive for an extra 24 hours), “Story Spotlight” (pinning your Story to the front of followers’ carousels), deeper rewatch analytics, and the ability to download Reels.

⚖️ Amsterdam Judge Bans Grok’s “Undress” Feature
A major legal win for privacy in the Netherlands: an Amsterdam judge has ruled that Elon Musk’s social media platform X must ensure its AI chatbot, Grok, can no longer generate non-consensual nude images of unsuspecting people.
