Currently being tested with a small group of users, this premium tier unlocks additional features like premium stickers, custom app icons, advanced chat sorting, premium ringtones, and the ability to pin up to 20 chats (up from the current limit of three). Will users be willing to pay for an upgraded chat experience? Time will tell!

🔎 Google May Be Forced to Share Search Data with Rivals

A massive shakeup could be hitting the search and AI landscape. The European Commission has proposed a measure under the Digital Markets Act (DMA) that would require Google to share its anonymized search data, including ranking, query, click, and view data, with rival search engines and qualifying AI chatbots. If enforced, this could completely level the playing field, allowing third-party AI tools and search competitors to optimize their services using Google’s massive, historical data pool.
