Bad news for those looking for a quick Instagram reach boost. Instagram Chief Adam Mosseri has debunked the popular myth that re-posting your feed posts to Stories will increase your overall reach. According to Mosseri, “Feed generally gets more reach than Stories anyway,” meaning that sharing to Stories won’t meaningfully change your post’s eligibility or visibility. However, there is a silver lining: Mosseri also revealed that the Instagram team is actively debating whether to allow users to schedule Stories in the future.

🔓 Meta to Open-Source Next-Frontier AI Models

Meta is sticking to its open-source tradition for its upcoming AI advancements. The company is reportedly developing open-source versions of its next-frontier AI models, alongside proprietary versions internally known as Avocado and Mango. 📄 LinkedIn Document Posts Generate the Most Engagement

Forget video—if you want to maximize your engagement on LinkedIn, you might want to start uploading PDFs! A new 2026 report analyzing 1.3 million LinkedIn posts found that native document posts, which display uploaded PDFs in a carousel format, generate the highest levels of engagement out of all content types on the platform. Interestingly, while document posts win on overall engagement, the report also notes that multi-image posts generate the most likes.

🇧🇪 Flanders Bans Harmful Social Media for Kids Under 13

A major regulatory shift is happening right across the border in Belgium, just like we have seen in other countries. Flanders is moving to ban harmful social media platforms for children under 13 years old. Platforms will be required to block access to younger children to protect them from harmful influences, though some other platforms may remain accessible provided there is explicit parental consent.
