Purpose of the role
TEAM LEWIS is seeking Research Analysts to join its growing market research team. TEAM LEWIS creates custom market research for B2B and B2C companies in cybersecurity, fintech, consumer tech, financial services, and other industries. We help create thought leadership content, generate media interest, assist with strategic planning, or gather better understanding of the market, competitive landscape, or audience.

As a Research Analyst at TEAM LEWIS, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data to drive strategic marketing and communications decisions and enhance our clients’ competitive advantage. The selected individual will have the opportunity to work on all phases of primary research projects including surveys and focus groups, assist with PR/social measurement, and directly engage with clients and client teams. 

    Key responsibilities and tasks

    • Assist with creating survey questionnaires and focus group discussion guides
    • Program online surveys
    • Create survey analysis plans
    • Assist in creating and writing market research reports
    • Generate charts and graphs that will be used within market research reports
    • Conduct secondary/desktop research to evaluate the competitive landscape, audience insights, and industry trends
    • Conduct monthly or quarterly social listening and media measurement analyses
    • Serve in a client-facing role for measurement engagements
    • Assist in conducting focus groups
    • Analyze and interpret research findings; find the “story” within the data
    • Work with various data sources to create measurement metrics for PR, social, and digital campaigns
    • Support client teams as they work with clients to create market research for PR and digital campaigns


    About you

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, statistics, marketing, communications, business, social sciences, or related field
    • 1-3+ years of market research experience (or academic research experience within a bachelor’s degree)
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Experience writing research reports or conducting literature reviews
    • Experience with or desire to learn about primary quantitative and qualitative research methodologies including survey questionnaire creation
    • Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, such as segmentation and regression analysis
    • Knowledge of or desire to learn about current media analysis tools (Meltwater, Traackr, Cision, etc.) is a plus
    • Knowledge of or desire to learn about statistical software packages (Qualtrics, Decipher/Forsta, SPSS, etc.) is a plus
    • Knowledge of or desire to learn about digital marketing analytics or web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Moz, SEMrush, Hubspot, etc.) is a plus
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, writing, and communications skills
    • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
    • Ability to work on multiple projects and keep track of deadlines
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
    • An entrepreneurial, self-directed spirit and team player

      The expected salary range for the ___ position is between $50K - $65K. Base annual salary is determined by factors such as location, experience, and expertise.
