Senior Marketing Executive – Maternity cover


Purpose of the role

The Senior Marketing Executive role provides effective and efficient support to TEAM LEWIS internal marketing efforts. This role will also involve taking the lead on, and responsibility for, ongoing marketing campaigns and related projects.

Responsibilities

Local marketing activity

  • Leads the planning and execution of all marketing activities in the region
  • Actively research and suggests ideas and opportunities to promote the company and services
  • Builds and maintains external relationships with journalists, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders/audiences
  • Supports the Sales, New Business and Client Engagement Teams with prospect outreach
  • Works with designers of the Creative Team to develop creative campaigns, assets, graphics and collateral
  • Participates in brainstorms and training sessions

Content and PR

  • Plans and/or creates original content in formats appropriate to the topic and audience
  • Manages blog content and contributor calendar for the region
  • Manages executive team speaking engagements
  • Manage award programme including identifying opportunities and the creation and submission of entries
  • Ensure there is a regular pipeline of news and announcements from the region, including drafting and approval process
  • Identifies and creates a regular pipeline of case studies for publication on external channels, including drafting and approval process

Online and social marketing

  • Leads the social media marketing activity and ensure the region is well-represented
  • Manages SEO project support
  • Website editor for the regional site
  • Planning, set up and managing paid campaigns on different platforms, such as LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads and Spotify, defining the proper goals, targets, formats, and assets, monitoring and optimizing budget and performances

Direct mail outreach

  • Manages the production/creation of internal and external newsletters
  • Suggests ideas for creative outreach campaigns
  • Segments and targets distribution lists, liaising with the sales team

Business development

  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of audience personas and recommend channels/tactics to target
  • Works closely with the Client Engagement Team to ensure marketing is central to driving brand awareness and qualified leads
  • Monitors marketing qualified leads and flag/refer new business opportunities to senior team members

Reporting and analysis

  • Compiles and interprets monthly and weekly reports
  • Monitors campaign performance data and contribute to marketing reports, including campaigns such as website performance, mailers, events, advertising and social media activity
  • Monitors and analyse engagements on social media and respond as appropriate
  • Compiles ad-hoc reports and/or analysis as and when required
  • Manages budgets across campaigns

Systems and administration

  • Be a super-user of the team’s major marketing tools for social media management, content management systems and email [namely Sharpspring, Oktopost and Wordpress]
  • Be a curator for the Marketing sites on Sharepoint to ensure it is a destination for the global team to access current and correct assets and guides
  • Minutes team meetings and proactively help to drive actions to ensure projects stay on-track

General

  • Supports the Southern Europe Marketing Director, the Head of Global Marketing and the wider marketing team on projects and initiatives e.g. announcements; collateral; social media and content creation
  • Be a cultural ambassador for the region and marketing; promoting initiatives internally and externally; showcasing activities and achievements on social media
  • Manages administrative tasks for the team as appropriate
  • Seeks ways to increase knowledge for self-improvement and to improve the team’s ability to deliver results
  • Proactive suggestions for new processes and tools to improve efficiency and performance of the team

Promotional materials and collateral

  • Ensures ample marketing supplies are available based on requirements
  • Identifies new requirements and provide solution ideas and costs
  • Manages printing/production of marketing collateral, sourcing quotes and liaising with designers and printers/suppliers as necessary

About you

  • Strong marketing generalist skill set. Proficient across all marketing tactics and channels, including events, mailers and social / online
  • Creative thinking and independent problem solving
  • Confident, excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Well organised; ability to prioritise; attention to detail; a pragmatic approach
  • Energetic, confident, charismatic – a credible team player
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Sharpspring, and some experience with design, photos, videos, HTML
