📷 Instagram Adds Native Support for 3:4 Images

Instagram now supports 3:4 aspect ratio photos, aka the format your phone already uses. No more awkward cropping or stretching. It applies to single shots and carousels, making life easier for content creators and brands uploading directly from mobile. Sure, Reels are still the main event, but it’s nice to see stills get some love again. 👉 Learn more

🎯 Meta’s AI Plans to Run Your Ads (Reportedly)

According to The Wall Street Journal and reported via Social Media Today, Meta is aiming to enable fully AI-automated ad campaigns by 2026. You’d plug in a product image, URL, and budget, and Meta would generate the creative, copy, targeting, and performance tracking. It’s a bold move, and while Meta’s Advantage+ already leans that way, this would take automation to the next level. Not confirmed yet, but a strong hint at where things are going. 👉 Learn more

📘 LinkedIn Drops B2B Influencer Guide

Need a B2B influencer playbook? LinkedIn’s released a surprisingly useful 22-page guide that dives into how B2B buyers use social, what they want from creators (spoiler: actual insight), and how to build strong creator partnerships. Plus, they explain how to run effective Thought Leader Ads. Definitely worth a flick through if you’re in the B2B space. 👉 Learn more

    📺 YouTube’s Side-by-Side Ads for Livestreams

YouTube’s rolling out a less disruptive ad format for livestreams, side-by-side ads that run next to (not over) the video. Audio still swaps to the ad, but it’s less jarring for viewers and a smart way to boost monetisation for streamers. With livestreaming on the rise across all platforms, this is one more incentive for creators to hit that “Go Live” button. 👉 Learn more

🔗 TikTok Lets You Add Links to Stories

TikTok’s new link sticker lets creators add clickable URLs to Stories, complete with custom text and design. It’s a huge deal for creators wanting to drive affiliate sales, push to owned platforms, or amplify other content. A solid reason to experiment more with Stories, especially now that there’s conversion potential baked in. 👉 Learn more

📱 WhatsApp (Finally) Comes to iPad

Only 15 years late, Meta has released a dedicated iPad version of WhatsApp. It supports voice and video calls (up to 32 people), front and rear cameras, and screen sharing, bringing most iPhone features to the big screen. It’s available now via the App Store. Took them long enough, but hey, welcome to the party. 👉 Learn more

    ✨ Campaigns We Love ✨

    ad KFC fresquito

    🖍 KFC Fiesta Fresquito

KFC didn’t actually let kids loose on billboards, but made it look like they did, unleashing a colourful, chaotic campaign across Madrid. It instantly reminded me of moving house with a toddler and watching my freshly painted walls fall victim to rogue crayon attacks. 👉 See the work

    Ad Robinsons squash

💧 Robinsons – Love in Every Drop

Yes, the ad is lovely, emotional, and beautifully shot. But also, yes, I have kids and my last name is Robinson, so it hit extra hard. It celebrates the little moments you’re not supposed to laugh at… but you do anyway. 👉 Watch it here
