LEWIS, the global communications agency, has won the UK public relations account for Maintel, the managed communications services company. Headquartered in the UK and listed on AIM (LON:MAI), Maintel is growing rapidly both organically and through acquisition. Following a competitive pitch process, Maintel selected LEWIS to raise its profile and communicate its broader and deeper portfolio of services following the acquisition of Azzuri Communications.

Maintel is an expert in integrated managed communications for client across all industries. The company has 7,000 customers and 600 staff and is focused on transforming the way clients communicate in the office, mobile or in the cloud. LEWIS is tasked with delivering an integrated communications campaign with a major focus on business media.

LEWIS has developed a campaign narrative called ‘Connecting Your Potential’ to bring Maintel’s story around helping customers move from conventional to exceptional communications to life. The programme spans corporate narrative, strategy, content development and media strategy and execution. Underpinning the campaign for Maintel is LEWIS’ solutions including LEWIS Analytics, LEWIS Inside (account management) and LEWIS Measurement (architected around AMEC’s Integrated Evaluation Framework).

Emma Edlington, head of marketing at Maintel said, “Maintel has grown rapidly in recent years and following the acquisition of Azzuri Communications we needed to better communicate our story to the market. We selected LEWIS because we were really impressed by their ability to integrate various capabilities together into a really coherent and powerful campaign. LEWIS brings us a lot of skills and an international network that we can harness in the future.”

Giles Peddy, SVP EMEA Operations & UK Managing Director, said, “We are delighted that Maintel has chosen to work with LEWIS. It’s a very exciting time in the managed communications market as organisations rapidly transform the way they operate and communicate internally and externally.”
