LEWIS, the global integrated communications business, today announced that it has been appointed as the global social media agency of record for ECOVACS Robotics, one of the top global brands in home robotics, following a competitive pitch.

The LEWIS team in Hong Kong will be responsible for the content, management and optimization of ECOVACS’ global social media channels, as well as spearheading major campaigns and activities to enhance brand identity and further build the category of home robotics.

With over 20 years of design experience supported by industry-leading research, ECOVACS has led the market as homes become more intelligent and responsive. It is focused on building a world where homes require less attention, where appliances become more seamless and powerful, and humans are free to spend more time doing what they love.

Johnny Zhu, Director, Global Brand and Official Shops, ECOVACS Robotics said, “The home robotics industry is still in its infancy, which means consumers often have questions about the features and capabilities of our technology. This makes social media an extremely important medium to us as we seek to educate our customers, build the category and hone our brand tone of voice. We are delighted to have found a partner that we are confident can support us in this journey, with the right social media expertise and creative thinking abilities to deliver successful campaigns.”

Keso Kendall, GM, Bay Area, Greater China, LEWIS said, “Our partnership with ECOVACS is an important milestone for the team in Asia, as we further build our social media portfolio with a diverse range of brands. Our work in the Greater Bay Area has been focused on supporting Chinese brands as they seek to appeal to a global audience and we are excited to collaborate with Johnny and his team at a critical time for the brand, to demonstrate how social campaigns can contribute to perception, growth and overall success.”
