Let’s face it; most of the time in an agency we’re all toiling behind the scenes simply to ensure that our clients shine. That’s how it should be. On rare occasions though, our work is actually celebrated for the world to see and it’s a chance to reflect on just how darned talented our colleagues truly are.

On June 1, the Publicity Club of New England hosted its 49th annual Bell Ringer Awards event at the Revere Hotel in downtown Boston. As the name suggests, the “Pub Club” (as it’s affectionately known) is an organization devoted to the communications industry within the six-state region. In addition to organizing educational events for PR professionals throughout the year, the club’s season culminates in a spectacular display of communications brilliance and celebrates the best and brightest campaigns from within the community.

What keeps CMOs up at night?

We asked hundreds of them to find out. Our eight-part Global CMO Report reveals the true state of marketing today.

In front of a crowd of nearly 350, LEWIS was honored this year with three awards that represent hard work by our teams and great results for our clients over the previous 12 months. LEWIS won awards for successful campaigns on behalf of Verint, Veeam and Nasuni – which included securing monthly columns, ghostwriting bylines and placing business press coverage that turned executives’ heads.

The most impressive part of this is that LEWIS only submitted three entries this year, and won awards for all three campaigns. Look to your right. Look to your left. Chances are both of these people are doing show-stopping, award-caliber work at this very moment!
