Award winning global PR and digital communications agency, LEWIS, has been chosen to handle the PR for Dutch lifestyle brand HEMA.
HEMA is head-quartered in Amsterdam and offers great quality, well-designed products at affordable prices. It has nearly 700 stores in seven countries and LEWIS is supporting the launch of its fifth UK store, at Stansted Airport.
This is the latest in a series of wins over the last six months for the Consumer team at LEWIS, which works with clients across food and drink, travel, health and fitness, automotive, technology, luxury and fashion sectors.
“We were looking for a PR agency that really understood our ethos and brand positioning so as to effectively introduce and embed us within the UK media and market place”
Arnold Drijver, Head of Corporate Communication at HEMA said. “We are delighted to have chosen LEWIS UK Consumer to take us on this journey – not only did they have great knowledge and market insights, but they also had an unbridled enthusiasm and passion for our company and where we want to take it. We look forward to a successful campaign and HEMA becoming a recognised and even more respected brand within the UK retail sector.”
Ranj George, Head of Consumer at LEWIS comments, “We are delighted to be working with the team at HEMA – it’s an exciting time for them as they expand in the UK. The Consumer division at LEWIS is growing quickly and this win is a great addition to our expanding portfolio, which already includes Sushi Shop, Turkish Airlines, Laundrapp, Honor (UK and WE) and Bowel Cancer UK, amongst others. We look forward to building on our existing success by working together with the in-house team at HEMA to create some spectacular stand-out results”.
