LEWIS, the global communications agency, has been appointed by Dexcom to deliver a four-month PR project.
Dexcom is the leading developer in diabetes management, developing, manufacturing and distributing state-of-the-art continuous glucose monitoring systems to patients across Europe. Dexcom’s technology suite includes a sensor which sits just below the skin’s surface and transmits real time glucose levels every five minutes to mobile applications via Bluetooth.
With offices throughout Europe, including a European head office opened earlier this month in Edinburgh, Dexcom has ambitious growth plans for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa.
LEWIS will work to extend brand awareness in Europe, delivering the company’s message to patients in a multi-market project led by the UK team, working with offices in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Through a media-led campaign, LEWIS will position Dexcom as an innovator driving revolutionary change to patients managing their diabetes.
Dan Masser, Head of Corporate at LEWIS, said: “Dexcom’s technological advances are truly enhancing the lives of people living with diabetes and it’s an exciting time for the company, having just opened an EMEA HQ. As such, LEWIS is delighted to have been chosen to help Dexcom tell its story in key markets around Europe.”
John Bernard, Marketing Director at Dexcom, EMEA added: “LEWIS’ experience in medtech, regional spread and healthcare insight were all factors that impressed during the pitch process. We welcome them into the rapidly growing Dexcom international team, helping to transform diabetes care and management through CGM technology.”
