The Music Man Project
Problem
Sir David Amess MP was the cause’s President and main fundraiser. Following his brutal murder in 2021, the Music Man Project faced an uncertain future.
Solution
Firstly, raise the cash to stabilise the organization. Then an idea. What if we put them together with an elite organization? Again, the network was contacted. With the brilliant cooperation of the Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt MP, a plan came together.
Execution
One glorious morning in Portsmouth England, TEAM LEWIS Foundation brought together the Music Man Project and the Band of The Royal Marines. One happy riot of exchanged hats and uniforms later, a bond was formed. Concerts, contacts and a recording contract followed.
This culminated in the hit 2022 Christmas single “Music is Magic” and a subsequent sell-out tour of American and British venues.

Results
The single made its way into the Top Ten in the UK with media including the BBC, Sky News and Good Morning Britain in the lead-up to Christmas. The single reached millions of people globally and helped put The Music Man Project on the map in the UK and beyond.
TEAM LEWIS Foundation has stood shoulder to shoulder with Music Man Project ever since. We were determined that something good would come out of a horrifying tragedy. The inspirational team counters hate through hope, honouring the memory of their greatest champion.
